Abrasive belt grinding machine Mod. H.O./3000/200/2UL SPECIAL, designed for processing titanium bars up to 430 mm in diameter for the aerospace industry.

The purpose of the process is to reduce surface roughness, as a necessary preparation prior to non-destructive ultrasonic testing (UT).

To prevent material contamination, the machine operates using pure water; for this reason, almost the entire grinding system is constructed from stainless steel.

Adjustment for various diameters is performed automatically via PLC, as are the abrasive wear compensation and the working pressure regulation systems.

The machine is equipped with a special washdown circuit to remove processing sludge, including from the interior of the abrasive belt guards; it also features an outlet drying system and a centralized greasing system.
